We're gonna party, like, it's your birthday ...
What came first? The first anniversary of this here blog - today, May 31 - or 100 posts over the past year? Well, sad to say that I'm stuck on 99 blog entries but thrilled that year one is in the books.
I'm off to the country now, but feel free to post a birthday greeting. That includes you, Knackers Knackerson. Year two might be a little bit different but JB's acerbic wit will hopefully continue to entertain. Thanks for the support and I'll see you on the flipside.
Over and out.

Well JB, it seems that the 99 blog postings have been quite successful over the past 365 days. Entertainment, I noticed, turns 1 today. Hip Hip Hooray!

The DA, out of chambers . Happy 1st Birthday jsb178.blogspot.com
There are few socio-commentary precedents of tenure and quality of this internet log (save for former US Senate intern Jessica Cutler who mused about missionaries and politcal gains and mandates and swing voters and the upper and lower chambers and bedding down votes and the like) that started out with 'nothing to say.'
While the freeworld slept (except you Don Rumsfield) her author, beknown only to us as JB, fed our insatiable thirst for the truth and good humour and bad luck and favourable fortunes and contemporary portable music devices and girl meets boy and sport and the wonders of travel from the blue and white foreshors of Geelong (smart move!)to countries who'd shout a beer... and boy we stayed tuned.
DA out.

So many good times, so many disappointments (thanks to the "mighty" Cats) have been communicated through this extension of modern technology.
The Blog has kept those of us abroad informed and update with the adventure of those back home, a nice reminder of the life we left (temporarily).
Excellent work JB!
